 Busy packing my barang barang in the office. Didn’t know i had so much to pack!

 Boss saw me packing  and thought it was my last day!

Colleague organized a farewell tea break for me!

& since my boss wasn’t in, we used his meeting room!

There were kuehs, fruits, potato chips, spinelli coffee and a cake from Bakerzin!

But then again, who knows if our paths might cross again?

Last Day @ Work

Its my last day with IBM!

Strangely, i don’t feel quite sad about it. I mean, still sad lah, but not as sad as if i will tear, unlike the past.

I’m actually quite sad that i have to leave this “comfort zone” and start all over again in a new office… Getting to know the people (& shit, i have problems remembering names!), the process, etcss..

What to do..? I agreed to send the resume, i got shortlisted (i also dun quite understand y i got shortlisted), i chose to resign!

Haiz, so be it… a new start for a new year? Let’s hope things will turn out well for me unlike what the Fengshui Masters predicted!

But Sorry,  i wasn’t invited to his birthday celebration but they told me they know i’ll be at Auto for sure! So what does this mean, i 不请自来 afterall!?!?

Batam 18.12.08

Its our last day at Batam and guess what?

All of us overslept till 11:30am!!

We missed our breakfast and we were supposed to check-out at 12noon! Immediately called the reception and asked for late checkout at 1pm. Shit, i thought i can try banana boating and jetski for one last time

Our ferry is supposed to leave Batam at 4:30pm, so we have a good 2hours plus for lunch and slacking around!

And Khun Chattapong Serene insisted on a few last shots before we leave.

 

Reached the ferry terminal and we went to the super “lock kok” (run-down) DFS .

Saw these products with funny names , ”Teng Teng” ”Pang Pang” & “Ting Ting”?

Its Day 2!

Woke up at 9:30AM looking forward to a sumptuous breakfast!

BUT shit, Disappointment was all i got!

I asked for soft boiled eggs and this was what i got

Didn’t eat much, cant bite still. Only had a couple of hot dogs, a mouth of harsh brown and beans.

Their service was super slowww…  Limited food choices for the buffet breakfast….

Went back to sleep after breakfast… Woke up at 12 plus in the afternoon and we were all fired up for Sea sports!

Yesshhh! Sea Sports! Sea sports! Sea Sports!

We’re going Banana Boating and Jet Skiing!

This was our first try! Panic…! Kept telling the staff– Slow Slow, no capsize…  Regretted minutes after we went out to the sea, we kept shouting to the staff who was driving the boat – “Faster Faster!” And halfway through, the staff suddenly stopped the boat and… he took off his life jacket and started waving it to the staff onshore for help! And he told us “engine-problem”!  -_-”  Luckily all was well, engine revived and none of us fell into the sea! Fun! I wanna try it again BUT no slow slow this time… It has to be Fast Fast but still no Capsize!

Next was Jet Ski and they didn’t allow girls to drive it as the waves were too strong! Sad. No photos were were taken, even more sad Jet Ski was fun~ But it was freaking cold!!! Love going against the waves but i hate it when the water gets into my eye, pain! I’m glad i didn’t fall into the sea coz Khun Chattapong Serene did.. Haha… But too bad, i didn’t get to see it!

After 40mins of ride from the the hotel, we’ve finally reached Golden Prawn 555!

& this is where you pick the seafood! Can u spot the big fish on the bottom right? It’s about 7 feet!

Went to Hyde’s discotheque (locals pronounced it as Disco-take)after dinner… The Geese Glitz Club!

Thought this was a Thai disco thats why we went to check it out.  But to our horror, it became an Indonesia Disco!!! The Singers were singing Malay Songs lor!

Yuhooo Everyone ~~~ I’m back!

Haven’t been updating my blog for the past few days as i was away in Batam. And yes, its the four non-swimmers at the BatamView Beach Resort again!

This was basically a sleep-eat-sleep-play-sleep-eat-drink-sleep-shop-sleep trip.

Not many pictures were taken as most of my time was spent on eating and sleeping! But then again, what’s there for me to take in Batam!

Rushed home to pack before meeting Katek on Monday night!

DAY 1

 I almost missed my 10am ferry on Tuesday as i went drinking with Katek Joaelle on Monday night till 3 plus!!! Super Shag!

Couldn’t find a seat in the lower deck of the ferry as we were the last few to board, I didn’t know ferries could be so pack on weekdays! All thanks to the gamblers!!! We only managed to find seats in the upper deck which was open-air, and i cant take my nap!

 After 30mins of sun tanning, we finally arrived at Batam…!

Fell asleep soon after checking in till 3plus in the afternoon. Only woke up for lunch at 4pm

Booked a cab to Nagoya after lunch and while waiting for the cab @ Lobby… Spotted these cute doggies?  Not sure what it is too, but it looks cute!

and i decided to take a photo with it!

 

Nagoya was pretty boring.. Nothing much to shop… Didn’t see anything i like… But we can still shop for an hour plus before we had a light dinner at A&W. Went to hypermart after dinnr to get cup noodles, beer, tit bits etc…. Followed by a Balinese-Thai Massage + Body Scrub!

Shiok-ness!

I meant the scrub… Skin feels so much smoother after the scrub though it was painful throughout the process. Didn’t really enjoy the massage coz the masseur who was attending to me “eat snake”! She didn’t massage my lower back at all whereas the rest of them had it! Angry! Angry! Angry! My lower back was where i needed massage badly

Went back to the hotel after massage…. had cup noodles, and fell asleep!

FRIDAY

Its Sakae Sushi @ Bugis followed by Autosports again -_-|||.

Only 4 of us were there, Dan & Dotty, Joaelle & Me.

It was the same games we were playing and the same songs that we were singing. Am wondering why we can continue doing the same things w/o getting bored. Or are we too bored until we don’t get bored of what we were doing?

Dotty and Daniel left quite early that night. And when they left, we’ve already finished half a bottle of Chivas, 3/4 bottle of Martell. Joaelle and me continued drinking… till 3 plus!! We finished the remaining bottle of Martell + 1 jug of beer.

i think we’re gonna die of alcohol poisoning one day. -_-|||

 

SATURDAY

Went for my dental appointment on Saturday afternoon and i was late as usual! Keith’s gonna kill me sooner or later

Went to Uncle’s place after that and slacked till 11pm!

Met friends at Sabai Sabai at 11plus and i saw Kaiwen and Sherwyn there too. I think they are gonna convert their nationality to Thai sooner or later too… just like Khun Chattapong Serene -_-”

Kinda liked the band at Sabai Sabai, they were very uniformed in terms of dance steps and dressings. Not to mention their powerful vocal and the handsome & pretty faces. Woo~

 

SUNDAY

Made a trip down to Sim Lim Square coz some1 wanted to repair his laptop. Grrrr, woke me up at 1pm just for that!!!

Went for lunch at Cafe Cartel and i ordered a combo set of Chicken chop + linguine. Guess what, i only had 2 small slices of chicken chop and a small mouthful of linguine, and i eventually gave up coz i cant bite! End up drinking cups and cups of water to keep my stomach full

Went shopping at Marina Square after lunch and i simply love their decors!

Went prawn fishing at Jurong after that, all thanks to Khun Chattapong Serene. She has been haunting me for that.

Didnt dare to catch the prawn, so i used the chair to “step” on its left tong, and used the fishing rod to “step” its right tong, while waiting for help!

Sadly, this was also my one and only catch! @$@$@%

This is really record breaking can!

How unlucky can i get? 1 stupid prawn for the entire 3 hours, gosh, i wanna cry!
